Equine Affaire Youth & Collegiate Horse Judging Contest

Individuals and teams put their equine knowledge to the test and competed for top awards in Equine Affaire’s first Youth & Collegiate Horse Judging Contest. The contest featured a variety of breeds and disciplines in both halter and performance classes and posed a broader range of judging challenges than normally encountered in most horse judging contests.

Halter and performance classes were held in the morning. The afternoon may have required oral reasons to be given to an official (refer to the contest rules, as this varied based upon age group). Many competed and tested their knowledge of various breeds and disciplines to win valuable prizes.
