Mare

Ymkje
Jaaike has been awarded the prestigious title of Model Mare, the
highest rating that a Friesian mare can achieve. This is awarded
based not only on conformation and movement, but also on athleticism.
Ymkje received the noteworthy score of 82 on her IBOP athleticism
test (the average score is a 79). Being among the elite mares
in the United States, Ymkje is the first mare in New England ever
to be awarded Model.
In addition,
Ymkje is a Grand National Champion. She has been selected to do
embryo transfers in order to keep her extraordinary genes in the
future generations of purebred Friesians. Therefore, she will
be contributing to the overall improvement of the Friesian breed.
