EQUINE AFFAIRE INTRODUCES THE 
Equine Affaire Versatile Horse & Rider Competition

W. SPRINGFIELD, MA, November10–11, 2007 – Equine Affaire, the premiere horse exposition in North America, will introduce the Equine Affaire Versatile Horse & Rider Competition on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the 2007 Equine Affaire. This exciting new competition will be a timed and judged race through an obstacle course which will test the communication between horse and rider as well as each team’s coordination. The race will be held in the Eastern States coliseum. Adult riders of all disciplines with horses of all breeds are invited to apply to compete for thousands of dollars in cash and other major prizes. As the horse and rider teams work through each obstacle, they will be judged on several criteria as well as overall performance. The esteemed judges for this year’s competition will be Julie Goodnight and Bob Jeffreys, and the event’s special guest commentator will be David O’Connor.
